George William Schafer US Army Air Corps circa 1941 looking for unit information. Was at Luke Field 1941-1942?

My grandfather, George W. Schafer was in the Army and went through pilot training at Luke Field but got kicked out of flight school and sent to Aerial Photography and flew in bombers as a Gunner and Recon Photographer. If anyone has Unit Information about Luke Field or a Class book that has George William Schafer’s name in it could you please contact me? He just passed away from cancer this year and I am trying to make a shadow box with the proper emblems for my grandmother.
